Les chercheurs ont fix\u00e9 le seuil de sommeil insuffisant \u00e0 sept heures ou moins par nuit d\u2019\u00e9cole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pendant longtemps, huit heures de sommeil repr\u00e9sentaient une r\u00e9f\u00e9rence admise pour les adolescents. Aujourd\u2019hui, cette norme s\u2019efface. Une vaste \u00e9tude publi\u00e9e dans la revue&nbsp;JAMA&nbsp;montre que la proportion d\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ves am\u00e9ricains dormant sept heures ou moins par nuit est pass\u00e9e de 68,9 % en 2007 \u00e0 76,8 % en 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-vivid-purple-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-0b453c3fade3ee9c1d62c1cc69541675 wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Les adolescents passent davantage de temps en ligne, \u00e9changent tard le soir et gardent leurs t\u00e9l\u00e9phones dans la chambre. Cette exposition nocturne \u00e0 la lumi\u00e8re des \u00e9crans retarde l\u2019endormissement et fragmente le repos.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:66px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"background-color:#fff0c5\">Les cons\u00e9quences du manque de&nbsp;sommeil&nbsp;d\u00e9passent la simple fatigue. Le sommeil participe \u00e0 la r\u00e9paration des tissus, \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9limination des d\u00e9chets m\u00e9taboliques et \u00e0 la r\u00e9gulation immunitaire. Une privation chronique est associ\u00e9e \u00e0 un risque accru de maladies comme le diab\u00e8te ou les pathologies cardiovasculaires.
